Welcome to Longhouse Cottages located in Rosemarkie on the beautiful Black Isle. Less than a 30 minute drive from Inverness, Longhouse Cottages offers self catering accomodation with free WiFi and a garden terrace with amazing views across the Firth.
Cycling, horse riding, dolphin spotting, woodland and coastal walks can be enjoyed nearby along with some fine dining in Rosemarkie, Fortrose and Cromarty. There are also museums, a Cathedral, art galleries, and a Pottery for those looking for some local culture.
The nearest airport is Inverness Airport, 24 miles from the Cottages.

The views from Kestrel (the mid-terraced cottage)and Osprey (the end cottage) are stunning. The cottages have a cosy comfortable feel, ideal for either a couple or family group. King size double beds in each cottage are downstairs. Upstairs in Kestrel there is a family room with a double and 2 single beds. Upstairs in Osprey there are 3 single beds. On request we can provide a travel cot, stair gate and high chair for families who require them for a small additional fee. Osprey has a walk in shower. Kestrel has a standard bathroom. There is WiFi and excellent 4G reception.
We are enthusiastic about our local area, the Black Isle, and would like to welcome you to use the Longhouse Cottages (Osprey and Kestrel) as an ideal base for exploring the immediate area, with opportunities for bird and wildlife spotting, visits down a steep winding cliff path to the beach, and walking in well established and regenerating woodland. There are Highland cows and Hebridean sheep in the fields close by, with great photo opportunities.
The Longhouse Cottages are situated in a secluded area of the Black Isle in the Highlands of Scotland, with magnificent views over the Moray Firth, home to the famous resident population of Bottlenose Dolphins. The property is situated within a couple of miles of close-up dolphin spotting as seen from the beach at Chanonry Point. Stunning views of both the historical Fort George across the Moray Firth and Chanonry Point can be seen from the Longhouse Cottages.
